Licenced Amateur radio operator since 1992. Active CW Operator, My wife is also a HAM ,call is VU2LYL (OP LATHA). Our harmonic is OB Arjun .
I have tested and worked all digital modes using PC and Radio,Homebrewed different types of radios and trx , linears etc. I am interested in home brewing and using my Home made 4 band all mode TRX .
KENWOOD TS-140S , SB200 , AT1KM Antenna Tuner , Home made multi band
5 element Yagi for HF , 7 element VHF yagi,inverted " V " dipole Antenna for 40 mtrs are other other setups here.
VHF band is activated with my YAESU FT-411E , FT2800M,and one icom IC229E base. Using 7 element Yagi, Jpole & 5/8 stcaked array for VHF , able to access 8 repeaters in south India .
Other Hobbies are Electronics study and experimenting, micro controller programming (Microchip PIC 16F 84 specialized), Digital Photography , Internet browsing , Music listening etc.
Profession is working in R&D OF Verdant Telemetry and Antenna Systems, Cochin , Kerala.
